Bella’s Special Twirl

Bella the bunny has practiced hard, and now she is gliding across the ice with one paw lifted high. Her long ears bounce below her cozy hat as she gets ready for a graceful winter twirl. She may be imagining clapping friends along the edge of the rink! This picture captures the happy moment just before a spin. Add colors that make Bella look like the brightest little skater on the ice.

Create Bella’s Skating Look

Try soft brown, gray, white, or tan for Bella’s fur. Her inner ears can be pale pink, while her eyes and nose may be dark brown or black. Choose a purple, pink, red, or teal hat to keep her head warm. Color the ice light blue with a few white streaks that show where skates have glided. Silver-gray blades and a darker blue outline around the rink will complete her chilly stage.

Bunny and Ice Facts

Rabbits have long ears that can help them notice sounds around them. Their strong back legs help them hop quickly and jump far. Wild rabbits do not usually ice-skate, of courseβ€”Bella is having make-believe fun! Ice skating works because a skate blade is very thin, so it can glide smoothly over ice. Skaters bend their knees a little to help keep their balance while they move and turn.
